When COVID-19 forced everyone to home offices, lots of little complications arose. One of which was a request from out education team. They were working on home projects for kids who found themselves suddenly being homeschooled. We had a plan to make coloring sheets in collaboration with Charley Harper, the famous late Cincinnati artist.
They had a few low resolution jpegs that the Charley Harper foundation had provided, but not good enough to print from, I would have to recreate them from scratch in Illustrator if we wanted something that would work to distribute online. Being a fan of Charley Harper, it was a fun yet challenging project.
More important to me was the message. “Let us meet you where you are.” As a designer and marketer, I know the importance of customer behavior. The best thing any company can do is to make the right thing to do also the easiest. That means understanding the consumer, and fulfilling their needs.
