A passion project that turned into a profitable side hustle through sourcing, multichannel promotion and network activation. I created these posters for fun, vector based illustrations minimalistic style based off of a retro video game. I’m a part of the fan community, and shared the designs on several forums for feedback. An interest was raised for physical printouts, so research began for sourcing. Balancing print quality, ease of logistics, and ROI; I decided on Redbubble as the producer and distributor. Cross channel promotion quickly raised the profile of the project, engaging several networks at once and turning the project into a success that continues to progress even a year after the release.
